KOREAN LASH LIFT, COMPLETE STEP BY STEP PROTOCOL

with InLei Lash Filler 25.9 products

Complete step-by-step protocol on how to complete a Korean Lash Lift with the InLei Lash Filler System.

 

STEP 1: Prepare your lashes.

Thoroughly cleanse your lashes with InLei® Saline Pre-treatment and secure your lower lashes with a silicone pad such as the InLei® Black Pad. It's essential to use a silicone pad (not a disposable one) to protect your skin, ensuring the solutions don't come into contact with

STEP 2: Apply Form 1.

There are two methods available for this step of Korean lamination :

METHOD 1 (glueless)

• Apply InLei® Lash Form 1 by gently pressing the lashes onto the patch, taking care to cover the lashes evenly and leaving 1mm distance from the eyelid.
• For thicker and more curled hair, you can add 10-20% InLei® S-Powder.

Note: When lashes are placed on the patch, the application time is longer than when they are applied on a shield. On a shield, the hair is subjected to slight tensior that makes it more susceptible to absorption. On a pad, however, it remains in its natural position and absorbs more slowly. The application time in this case can be up to 10-20 minutes.

METHOD 2 (korean),

• Apply InLei® Lash Form 1 mixed with 10-20% InLei® S-Powder and pull the lashes upwards onto an flat shield or a silicone patch such as the InLei® Black Pad.

STEP 3: Remove product from tips

Within 5 minutes of applying the product (depending on the hair structure), remove the product from the tips using a small brush. Then, go over the tips with InLei® Saline Pre-Treatment. See the detailed information on lash tips at the end of the article.

STEP 4: Lash Checking

Using a microbrush, check the condition of the hair: if it is malleable, then the product can be removed with a dry brush. Tip: Unlike the traditional technique, where we usually set a timer, Korean Lash Lifting uses a stopwatch to monitor the application time and periodically check the condition of the hair. It's important to stop the process at the right time to achieve optimal results: the lashes should be malluable & obedient but not completely lacking in structure.

STEP 5: Prepare Fix 2 with S-Powder

Mix 30% InLei® S-Powder thickening powder with 70% InLei® Lash Fix 2 fixing powder. The mixture should be soft and lump-free, not powdery.

STEP 6: Postion The Lash Shield

• Place the shield on the eyelid, keeping 1mm away from the root.
• Apply the lashes directly onto the shield using the Fix 2 + S-powder mixture. At this point, the lashes should be very obedient and will wrap to the shield easily.
  The most suitable tools are the InLei® Helper comb, the InLei® tiziano brush, and a soft disposable like the InLei® Softies. It is important to use them extremely delicately as the hair is very fragile at this stage.
• Place InLei® Lash Stopper and leave on for half the time of the first solution.

Note: When placing your lashes on the shield, remember to check that there is enough product; otherwise, the lashes will remain glued thanks to the tackiness of the powder, but the curl-fixing function will not activate. It necessary, add more InLei Lash Fix 2 (with or without powder) once lashes are wrapped onto the shield.

STEP 7: Lash Tinting

Mix your desired colour with InLei® Developer Cream 1.5%. in a 1:1 ratio until you obtain a creamy consistency. Apply from roots to tips with a brush like InLei® Vincent

• Leave on for 6 to 12 minutes, depending on the hair texture, and remove with a

 

STEP 8: Apply Nutrition

Apply InLei® Lash Filler 3 with soft movements using a flat brush such as InLei® Picasso and wait a few minutes for it to penetrate until completely absorbed.

 

STEP 9: Final Cleanse

Wet the InLei® Fernando brush with water, and pick up a small amount of Magica Mousse. Thoroughly clean away any solution, tint or powder residue. Once all cleansed, remove the shield and rinse the area.

Note: To obtain the correct consistency of the mousse, it is recommended to shake the bottle and turn it upside down while dispensing.

STEP 10: Lash Molecular

Apply InLei® Lash Molecular 4 to all lashes using an InLei® F- brush and comb through until completely absorbed.

Korean Lash Lift with InLei®: How to Manage Tips and Roots

It is essential to pay attention to the tips of the lashes to avoid compromising your work.

 

Roots of the lashes

Even with Korean Lash Lift, you should NEVER come into contact with the skin. Whether you use a product containing cysteamine or ammonium thioglycolate, these are highly alkaline solutions.

Always leave at least 1 mm of space between the lashes and the skin , as these components are potentially irritating to the skin. Touching or working too close to the skin will exponentially increase the risk of irritation or allergic reactions . This is an absolutely essential precaution to protect the lashes and the health of the client's eyes.

Tips of the lashes

In the Lash Filler 25.9 method, we avoid having product touch the tips of the lashes, and we are used to this way of protocol - but when using the Korean technique, we need to apply the product immediately along the entire length of the hair (since the lashes are already on the patch, it's almost impossible to exclude them from the start), so we proceed as follows: after 1-4 minutes of processing time, considering the lash type of your client you can remove the product from the tips with Saline.

This doesn't interrupt the process, it simply slows it down. Since this is a particularly delicate area, it's a necessary step to avoid over-process.
